2. Multiplication of Integers
When you multiply two or more numbers the result is called the product.
There are two rules that you must know when multiplying integers:
When multiplying two numbers with the same sign, the product is positive.
When multiplying two numbers with different signs, the product is negative.

The following examples apply to rule #1:
