2. BACKGROUND -He was born in Bristol, United Kingdom -His real name is unknown -English graffiti artist, political activist, film director & painter -Bansky is known for graffiti, street art, Bristol underground scene, sculpture, satire, & social commentary

3. CAREER -Bansky began freehand graffiti artist in 1990- 1994 -He used stencils as elements of freehand too -He turned to the art of stenciling full time by the year 2000 - Banksy's first known large wall mural was "The Mild Mild West" painted in 1997 -Banksy's stencils feature striking and humorous images occasionally combined with slogans - The message is usually anti-war, anti- capitalist or anti-establishment. -Subjects often include rats, apes, policemen, soldiers, children, and the elderly.

6. REFLECTION Overall Banksy is a very unique artist with the type of art he creates. Bansky’s art is really interesting because its such simple art that really speaks to the viewers. My favorite piece of art that Banksy created is the “Gorilla in a Pink Mask” because its unique and different from the typical art one would usually see.
