4 Learning Objectives By the end of this session you will be able to: Describe the cycle of communication Describe how language is used to communicate information Describe the importance of listening techniques Use body language that encourages communication Describe how using tone of voice is important in verbal communication

5 The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is crucial in everything we do. Communicating clearly and effectively is not always easy and the potential for misunderstandings is huge. This session will help you to develop your communication skills in a variety of ways- how you communicate using your body, your tone of voice as well as your language.
