2 Destination Aotearoa, New Zealand Did you know… o A kiwi is not a fruit – it is New Zealand’s native flightless bird and a slang term for a New Zealander o New Zealand was the first major nation to give women the right to vote, in 1893 o The population is 4.4 million o There are nine sheep to every one human o New Zealand is nuclear free o NZ is the 3 rd safest country in the world (Global Peace Index (GPI), 2013)

4 Destination Auckland AUT University is located in the heart of Auckland City.Auckland City Ranked among the world’s top five cities to live and work in. The largest and most culturally diverse of New Zealand's cities, with a population of more than 1.4 million people – 27% born in other countries. Large Polynesian, Maori and Asian, as well as European population. Auckland's climate is temperate and perfect for enjoying the many beautiful and clean beaches within easy reach of the city. Temperatures range from an average of 24 ℃ in summer (December to March) to 12 ℃ in winter (June to August).
