2. TASEV TRAINING CULTURE AND YOUTH ASSOCIATION  Taşev Training Culture and Youth Association was founded in 2008 in Gaziantep. Organisation aims to support developtment of the personal capabilities of young people and to share our cultural richness with young generation.  serves in a historical building at the city centre.  target groups are social and economic dissadventaged young people between the age of 13-30. But we are ready to support all young people with our activities.  has 300-350 volunteers in local and we want to enlarge the number of our volunteers both in local and international level.  it is one of the 8 acreditated organisations in Gaziantep and works as SO-HO-CO in Action 2 EVS under the framework of YIA programme.  has partners from EU member and neighbour countries and open for all partnerships from all over the world.  believes that new partnerships mean new opportunuties for young people

Study Visit in May 2012 in Gaziantep-Turkey  Would you like to explore education and training issues with your prospective partners from other European countries?  Do you wish to learn more about education and training policy and practice across Europe ?  Do you want to learn and share EVS experience with other organisations.  Do you wonder that how other organisations work which have EVS experience and which methods used in EVS activities?  Do you want to gain intercultural experience about YIA Programme?  Are you ready to see and explore the beauty of Turkey?

The programme includes visiting ;  Taşev Training Culture and Youth Association- Gaziantep  Gaziantep Governorship EU Coordination Centre- Gaziantep,  Turkish National Agency- Ankara,  Experiental Training Centre- Eskişehir,  DOSABSIAD- Bursa  Gençtur- Istanbul.  Accomodation costs and food will be provided % 100  Travel costs will be reimbursed %70

10. ABOUT GAZİANTEP Gaziantep is most probably one of the oldest sites of the Hellenistic city of Anthiochia and Taurum. Its history dates back to 4th millennium BC.Hellenistic The city is located in the Southestern of Turkey Its population is about 1,7 million (2010) It receives too much local migration every year. Gaziantep is one of the most developed provinces of the region and the 6th biggest city of Turkey. The city is an economic centre for South Eastern and Eastern Turkey.South EasternEastern The most important historical sites are Zeugma, Rumkale and Yesemek. Gaziantep is famous for its regional specialities with its handicrafts, food, deserts, traditional dances and mozaıqs, authantic streets,castles amd museums, bazaars, hans and hamams.

WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANISATION ? to increase the competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) of young people to cooperate between key actors involved in the support system around EVS volunteers and the other organisations. to raise awareness of the cultural diversity among young people.
