2 Project Overall  Working in 5 groups you will be working together to design a product, make an advertisement, prototype and keep an engineering notebook with various different assignments inside.  9 Step process, your notebooks will have 9 components  If I do not have this notebook then you will fail the class.

10 Today – What are we doing?  Researching the history of a product.  Research aspects of design problems, using online & published works.  Identify the design process steps used in given scenarios.

11 Get a notebook (1 per group)  What product are you going to invent / innovate?  Step 1) Identify the problem; What is the problem that your product is going to solve? How is it going to solve it (1.5 Page double spaced in your own words)  Timeline of that product (example if it’s a car, I need a timeline on transportation technology).
