3 Mid fall festival and Moon festival During September the moon shines the brightest during one day. Each night in September is the moon watching time. Food is important to everyone, so celebrating the harvest is one of the most important holidays around the world. It is no different in China. The Chinese celebrate this time of thanksgiving of the harvest moon festival.
