WHAT IS VERSION 8? The first in a series of new releases of Vision and Vision Pro designed to add support for smart devices Version 8 allows teachers to use the Demo feature to share their PC screen to any web- enabled student device. Devices include iPads, Androids, Chromebooks, Macs, PCs and any other device that has built in web-browser functionality.

In the Vision dashboard, the class URL link is displayed. The teacher gives this URL to the students.

HOW IT WORKS (Student) Students open a browser window on their device and enter the teacher’s class URL. A Join Class screen appears.

HOW IT WORKS (Student) Once students have joined the class they will see a welcome to class screen.

HOW IT WORKS (Teacher) As students connect, the teacher will see icons appear in the dashboard, each associated with the student’s name. The teacher clicks on the Demo button to share their screen. …then clicks on the Stop button to stop sharing.

PROMOTIONS Campus Migration Promotion
Existing customers receive credit to migrate existing licenses to a campus license. 100% credit for current ADV licenses. 65% credit for expired ADV licenses. Most cost-effective way to support all students and devices in a school. Ultimate flexibility when schools add more devices. Low administrative overhead; 1license, 1 ADV renewal date, no need to track number of devices. Campus licenses are affordably priced ($2.15 per student, for >2000). Runs to end of June.

PROMOTIONS Amnesty Upgrade Promotion
Any old version of Vision, Vision Pro or NSCH can be upgraded to version 8 at a special discount. Upgrade price is only 35% of the new license price. NSCH licenses can be upgraded to an equivalent Vision Pro license. New 12-month ADV starts on date of upgrade. Restrictions Vision customers cannot use this promotion to move up to a Vision Pro license. Customers of one license level cannot use this promotion to upgrade and migrate to a higher license level. Runs through end of June.
