2 Overview The purpose of this presentation is to help teachers improve the way they teach reading. The presenter will focus on learning performance and how the learner should perform by reading and understanding to know vocabulary, spelling, and grammar from reading texts. The presenter will talk about the reading process from pre- reading to post-reading and how this process can help students improve their reading.

5 Pre-Reading A teacher should read first a word or a story in order to make a learner listen how a word is Is pronounced. A learner should be taught to spell a word. A learner should know how to read the whole word. A learner should be taught how to read a sentence.
