2 Department of Technology Systems College of Technology and Computer Science Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) The (BSIT) program is a degree completion curriculum designed for students who have been awarded a qualified Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree. The curriculum has a strong emphasis in management, which allows the graduate to function well in either technical or decision- making career fields. MISSION

3 Department of Technology Systems College of Technology and Computer Science Degree Completion vs. 2+2 In degree completion programs, transfer credit is applied where appropriate within the curriculum. –Causes a variation in the amount of credit each student receives. In 2+2 programs, students are awarded a block of credit from their Associate’s degree- usually half of the hours toward a Bachelor’s degree. –No variation in credit between students.
