7 El Palacio National Government building. Housed the Federal Treasury and National Archives.

8 The Plaza of Three Cultures Main square in the Tlatelolco section of Mexio City. The three cultures refer to Mexican history: Pre-Colombian, Spanish colonial, and the independent mestizo nation.

9 Aztec Stadium Official home of the national Mexican football (soccer) team.

10 Basilica of Our Lady of Guadeloupe It is said that the Virgin Mary appeared to Juan Diego at this basilica which led to widespread Catholicism in Mexico.

11 Monument of Ninos Heroes Monument honoring six fallen teenage soldiers during the Battle of Chapultepec during the Mexican-American War. The last boy to fall wrapped the Mexican flag around him and jumped off a castle. There is a mural painted to depict and honor these boys.

12 El Zocolo Main square in Mexico City. Gathering place for Mexicans since Aztec times.
