5 Plan of Action Due September 29, 2014 Form available on the ABA YLD Leadership Portal Must include: – Name and description of your ABA Entity (committee, division, working group, etc.); – Contact information for the leadership of your Entity, including ABA Staff; – List of corresponding YLD Committees, if any; – Contact information for YLD Committee leadership, if any; – Calendar of your Entity’s meetings, conferences, and other programming for 2014-2015; – Three goals for the 2014-2015 Bar Year; – One (or more) idea for collaborative programming between your Entity and the YLD; – One (or more) idea for collaborative programming between your Entity and a corresponding YLD Committee, if any. Entity Leadership Meeting by September 29, 2014 Use the last question to list any current interaction, projects, or questions.

6 Reporting Quarterly Reports are required and extraordinarily important. – Q1 – Your Plan of Action serves as your Q1 Report. – Q2 – Report Due January 1, 2015. – Q3 – Report Due April 1, 2015. – Q4 – Report Due June 22, 2015. Co-Directors must prepare their own reports, and we cannot do that without your input. MidYear funding is based largely on your reports.

11 Liaison Tips Take the initiative. Be creative. Take on tasks no one else wants. Engage other young lawyers involved in your Entity. Don’t be afraid to ask leadership or staff for help or advice.
