2 What is acne? (Acne Vulgaris) The occurrence of inflamed or infected sebaceous glands in the skin; in particular, a condition characterized by red pimples on the face, prevalent chiefly among teenagers.

4 Types of Acne Type 1 acne: ✓ Minimal inflammation. ✓ Minimal affected area. ✓ Not painful. ✓ Irregular outbreaks. Type 2 acne: ✓ Mild inflammation. ✓ Some painful pimples. ✓ Regular outbreaks. Type 3 acne: ✓ Large, painful pimples. ✓ Nodular pimples. ✓ Frequent outbreaks. Type 4 acne: ✓ Large and painful nodules. ✓ Pustules and Cysts. ✓ Persistent Outbreak.
