5. Today Rachel and Little Louie are going to go to the zoo. The zoo has elephants, monkeys, tigers, giraffes, pandas, polar bears and penguins. Rachel couldn’t wait to see them all !

6. The zoo was so big! Rachel didn’t know what animal to start with. Should she go see the elephants first or the monkeys, tigers, giraffes, pandas, polar bears or penguins? She thought maybe she should start with the tigers since they were closest to the gates.

7. The tiger’s names were Leo and Lynn. They where really big!

8. 56 Next Rachel and Little Louie went to see the pandas, Benny and Beatrice. Benny and Beatrice where eating bamboo.

9. Then Rachel and Little Louie went to see the penguins. All the penguins where slipping and sliding down the snow hill except one, this one was tap dancing! The tap dancing penguin’s name was Ping. He was so cute!

10. Next Rachel and Little Louie went to see Billy, Joe and Bob the monkeys.

11. Then Rachel and Little Louie went to see Gorge and Gina the giraffes. They were so tall!

12. Next Rachel and Little Louie went to see Coke and Cola the polar bears.

13. Finally Rachel and Little Louie went to see Ella the elephant. ‘Ella looks so sad’ thought Rachel. Then Rachael had an idea! Rachel opened the elephant gate and took Ella home. The zookeepers tried to stop Rachel and Ella but they couldn’t. When they got home Rachel’s Mom asked her where she got Ella. Rachel told her from the zoo. So Rachel’s Mom called up the zoo.

14. Rachel's Mom told the Zookeeper that they had Ella. “Well,” said the Zookeeper, “You can keep Ella because we’ve got another elephant coming to the zoo, but you have to promise to take good care of her.” “Ok, we promise” said Rachel and her Mom. Rachel was so happy. She set up a picnic for Little Louie, Ella and herself.

16. About the Author Savannah Taylor was born in Bridgewater on April 28 th 2002. She lives in Welshtown. She enjoys playing soccer, softball and basketball. She loves to go sailing and four wheeling with her friends.
