3  N-Vision A Brighter Future Grant Program for STEM, Westinghouse Electrical Co http://westinghousenuclear.com/About/Community- and-Education/Educational-Grant http://westinghousenuclear.com/About/Community- and-Education/Educational-Grant Funding for a hands-on project dealing with STEM Technology equipment is an allowable expense if it is one component of a well-planned project, integrated with other curriculum materials and activities. Three schools will receive $1,000 to complete their project and an additional $2,000 for other science department needs Any U.S. elementary, middle or high school can apply Applications due online by November 14, 2014

4  Toshiba America Foundation http://www.toshiba.com/taf Funding for hands-on math and science projects Teachers are eligible applicants  Grades K-5 Grants  Up to $1,000  Deadline: October 1  Grades 6-12 Grants  Two levels: Up to $5,000 or more than $5,000  Rolling deadline for requests of up to $5,000  Requests over $5,000 are due February 1 st and August 1 st of each year

5  The Lemelson-MIT Program InvenTeam Grants http://web.mit.edu/inventeams/ Grants of up to $10,000 to teams of high school students, teachers, and mentors who invent technological solutions to real-world problems Science, math, and technology educators in high school are eligible to apply. Applications due in February.

6  The Honda Foundation http://corporate.honda.com/america Application deadlines in February, May, August, and November Funding priority is youth education, specifically in the area of STEM Imaginative, creative, youthful, forward thinking, scientific, humanistic and innovative projects encouraged. Grant awards range from $20,000 to $75,000 over a one year period
