Success rates in the production schools for young people entering the labour market, other VET schools and training and further education are high. “

All workshops are connected to companies which award contracts ( companies and privat persons as customers) F.e. Steyr ( Upper Austria): SKF ( Swedish bearing company) = production and repairing of cages in the metal workshop 9

12. www.bfi-ooe.at Ein Unternehmen der BBRZ GRUPPE Former participants of the production school : may start an apprenticeship at Bfi within IBA ( inclusive vocational training) = alternence ( in-company-training and vocational school), supported by training courses with social education workers IBA apprentices are : employed by Bfi paid by the Upper Austrian labour market service Trained by in-company-training ( more than 100 skilled trades) Intention: Being taken up as an apprentice at the company of the internship Alternative: final apprenticeship examination after three/four years at IBA 12
