2. Overview of article: This article discusses the importance using technology in the classroom. If a child sees a computer in a classroom, he/she will want to use it. It is important for the teacher to use this to their advantage. In giving the children the opportunity to work on the computer, the teacher will be giving them the chance to have fun in doing something they want to do, but also giving them the chance to learn as they do it. Computer use also engages many different learning styles; addressing visual, kinesthetic and auditory learners at once. This article shows a kindergarten teacher who presents concepts using different activities including stories, computers, pencil and paper methods, and manipulatives.
