19 AHBBS Conference AHBBS will host its Annual Conference on Friday, October 19 th, 2007. LABA will have a panel on Microfinance in Latin America & Africa Great networking opportunity, LABA members, especially MBA1s are strongly encouraged to go!!!!!! Location: The Metropolitan Club of New York (60 th Street & 5 th Ave.) Register through AHBBS web site

20 NSHMBA Conference NSHMBA will host its 18th Annual Conference and Career Expo in Houston, Texas from October 4th through October 6th, 2007. LABA is evaluating the possibility of supporting those members of the club that are willing to attend. The support would be in the form of reimbursement of expenses. Those members of LABA that would like to apply for this support will need to send the confirmation email from NSHMBA (showing that the applicant has registered already). The email should be send to laba@stern.nyu.edu.laba@stern.nyu.edu The budget is limited and the support will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Only members are eligible to apply.
