The Integrated Management System is designed to support managers in the performance of their individual corporate responsibilities reduce costs and effort in the long-term through continuous process optimisation and by combining duties and competences support employees in the integrated implementation of processes guarantee the supply of employment-related information and requirements secure a positive corporate ranking (management quality) estimate ecological and economic opportunities and risks and thus ensure sustainability.

The Group functions (6 IMF elements), the IMS line organisations of the BU and the specialist committees. The spokesperson for the IMS Board ist the head of VQ. The heads of VR L, I and P appoint the representatives of their division to the IMS Board. The Group committees for IMS elements provide the approach specified for the IMS elements within the Group.
