Topics Genres or Types of Writing Audiences for your writing Your territories can be things you have written about, or want to try to write about. Territories are about: Who you are as a person. Roles you have in life: Student, Child, Friend, Athlete, Musician, etc. Territories are your own personal idea bank!!

8 Creating your territories On Page 3 of your notebook, create this chart with the title: “My Writing Territories” PlacesThingsPeopleEvents

9 Creating your Territories Fill in as many things as you can think of in this chart. Then on the next page of your notebook, title it “My Writing Territories” Write down topics for you to write about Write down types of writing you want to do or try Write down ideas for audiences for your writing.
