2 June 24, 2005 Kou Yang – Japan Studies Institute 2005 The Project  To enable students to compare and contrast the experiences of Japanese minorities and those of minorities in the United States through the discipline of Ethnic Studies.  Ethnic Studies: culture, history, and perspective (interdisciplinary studies) –Students are asked to look at the experiences of minority groups from both the majority and minority perspectives.

Prejudice and stereotypes of minorities. 5. Minority-majority relations.
