2 What is Weather? Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a given time and place, with respect to heat, cloudiness, dryness, sunshine, wind, and rain.

3 There is Sunny Weather…
The sun creates a bright, warm atmosphere and sunny day.

4 There is Rainy Weather…
Rain is moisture from the atmosphere that falls into separate drops.

5 There is Snowy Weather…
Snow is frozen water vapor from the atmosphere that turns into ice crystals. It falls in light white flakes or lies on the ground in a white layer.

6 There are Thunderstorms…
A thunderstorm is a storm with thunder and lightning with rain.

7 There are Tornadoes… A tornado is a destructive mobile violent rotating wind shaped like a funnel.

8 There are Hurricanes… A hurricane is a storm with a violent wind in particular a tropical cyclone.

9 The Weather can be different everyday…
What is the weather like outside? Is it cold or hot? Is it sunny or cloudy? Is it raining or snowing?
