Following GIS tools will be used; an interactive map service based on ATLAS, MAOSIS GIS database as a basic requirement for an effective spatial planning in coastal zone and 12 sm maritime area of Odessa agglomeration will be created. Based on the updated GIS database a draft proposal for a possible sea-use plan will be introduced for the Odessa agglomeration covering the following set of issues: environmental protection, protection and sustainable management of natural resources, shipping, fishing, tourism. In the following a public participation process has to be started in order to align and of the various uses and find possible solutions to spatial planning conflicts.
