Components of the Feedback Process 6 Assessment Seen only by assigned coaches and ATD staff Frank assessment of college and their progress Principles Assessment Leader College applicants require certain scores that may prompt further explanation Overall progress Letter Provides the draft for the feedback letter sent to president Strengths and challenges organized by five principles

Feedback Letter Writing Tips 7 Bullets should be succinct, full sentences Examples are helpful for driving the point home The audience for the letter is the president of the college Name names rather than titles when praising a college employee Tips and examples reference document available on the Coach Connection

Coach Feedback Process 10 1. Log in to the Coach Portal and click on the “My Coaching” tabCoach Portal 2. Download and review your college’s materials 3. Complete the online feedback form (assessment and letter) Optional: Use the feedback form worksheet available on the Coach Connection to draft your responses with your partner coach Coach Connection

Review College Submission - 2 18 Report opens in new browser tab. Review online, or click Adobe logo to download and print

Review College Submission - 3 19 To download data files to your computer, scroll down to question 32 and 33, and click on the file name

Submit Coach Feedback - 1 20 Click “Edit/Submit” next to the desired college to open the coach feedback form

Submit Coach Feedback - 4 23 Page 3 – Save/Submit Page Save & Submit – Check box, and click “Save.” Feedback is submitted to ATD. You are no longer able to edit feedback form. Save in progress? – click “Save”. You can later return to portal and continue editing feedback form.

Submit Coach Feedback - 5 24 Coach Feedback Form – Important Point Always save your work by clicking Save button on page 3 of feedback form. Otherwise, closing the browser or browser tab risks losing your work!
