What are the dangers of stereotyping? Lead to gossip and bullying Reputations can be ruined or tarnished Lower self-esteem Stereotypes can “stick” to people Can you think of any other reasons?

The Lifeboat Yes, we saved 8 people based upon their “label”. How is this activity different than “The Apprentice” activity we did at the beginning of our unit? What are the dangers of The Lifeboat activity? YOU How would you feel if YOU were one of the people and someone had to pick and choose you only because of the label they gave you? Labels, stereotyping, and prejudices can have hurtful and very harmful consequences.
