4 WATER WEEK JAMAICA 2015 ALL-SCHOOLS RALLY AN ALL WEEK EVENT THAT PROMOTES FRESH WATER AWARENESS IN SCHOOLS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY THROUGHOUT JAMAICA. AN ALL SCHOOL MULTI-VENUE RALLY THAT GIVES YOUNG PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR CREATIVITY, ENERGY AND COMMITMENT TO WATER CONSERVATION ISSUES.

6 WATER WEEK JAMAICA 2015 RALLY ASSUMPTIONS Education when presented in a non threatening environment has a greater and more positive impact. Peer pressure has a significant influence on the youth population. The younger the audience the greater the likelihood of their acceptance and practice of what they are taught.

7 WATER WEEK JAMAICA 2015 OBJECTIVES TO SECURE FINANCIAL AND MATERIAL SUPPORT TO SELECT A CADRE OF LEADERS/VOLUNTEERS FOR PROGRAMMING AND ACTIVISM. TO SECURE INTERSECTORIAL COLLABORATION AND COOPERATION. TO CONFER SPECIAL RECOGNITION AND AWARDS TO SEEK PROMOTION,VISIBILITY AND ENHANCEMENT FROM THE PRINT AND ELECTRONIC MEDIA. TO PROVIDE A GLOBAL VEHICLE FOR EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT. TO IMPROVE THE WELLBEING AND SOCIAL CAPITAL OF THE WIDER COMMUNITY.
