11 Director Role: Leader Guides the center in the appropriate direction so as to meet the program’s goals and objectives. Supports and encourages staff to become a part of the team that will help the center and its programs thrive. 12 Director Role: Educator Implements an educational program that supports and maintains the program’s belief about how children learn. Promotes developmentally appropriate and best practices for young children.
