11 Individual Pre-doctoral Fellowships to Promote Diversity
In Health-Related Research (Kirschstein-NRSA F31) Investigator Objective: To enhance the number of well-prepared scientists from diverse populations by providing support for mentored research training leading to a PhD or MD/PhD. Requirements: A high quality applicant with research experience. A well-defined research project and training plan. Experienced, committed, & funded mentor/mentoring team. High quality Institutional environment. Details: Support is provided for up to 5 (PhD) or 6 years (MD/PhD). Three receipt dates per fiscal year. Success rates of applicants ~ 40%
