A diversified and dynamic industry, open economy and high growth potential makes Argentina one of the growing economies in Latin America. Access to a large local market and to important trade organizations such as MERCOSUR and WTO. Argentinean Environmental Policy The percentage of produced renewable energy must reach 8% by 2016. Laws that make the development of wind energy projects easier: Accelerated amortization. Sales tax refunds. Tax  exemptions on minimum presumed income Subsidy: 15 AR$/MWh (1,8 USD/MWh) Financial Stability. Legislative initiative to create the following benefits: 8% of the energy of large consumers has to be through renewable energy. Subsidies for domestic production increase. Credit lines. Tax benefits.

6 3. Current Opportunites The local currency reduces investment and business costs. Great amount of infrastructural work to do. High availability of local currency for investments. Custom-free import of wind energy turbines.
