A structure that helps students develop the daily habits of reading, writing, and working independently
The Daily 5 areas stay consistent so students can grow in their own learning

3. Why Use the ?
Based on surveys and Team Leader input, Reading Explorations would benefit from a more structured framework
The Daily 5 will provide students with a framework for meaningful independent work and focused teacher time

4. How will I Group My Students?
Teachers will divide students into groups of 4-6 forming
“A B C D E groups”
Teachers will use the following data to place students in groups:
Fresh Reads
MAP scores
Groups are fluid, flexible, and should be rearranged based on student needs.
