8 It’s time to eat our veggies. It’s time to munch our fruit. Let’s grow up strong and healthy. Down with all bad foods! We want strong teeth and bones. We want strong muscles too. We need to keep our strength up, To do what children do!

9 Let’s have our vitamins, Let’s have our protein too. And there’s our carbohydrates, And tasting as we chew.

13 Pancake Song

14 Make a pile of flour and a pinch of salt. Make a pile of flour and a pinch of salt. Break an egg in the middle.

15 Add the milk just a little at a time. Stir it all together

16 Beat it up with a wooden spoon. Till you can see the bubbles.

17 Pour some into a hot frying pan. Cook till it’s turning golden.

18 Flip it over on the other side. Cook for a minute more.

19 Turn it out onto your plate. I feel my tummy rumbling.

20 I like mine with lemon and sugar. Rolled in a yummy parcel.

21 That’s the way to make pancakes. Follow the recipe now.

22 My Grandad’s Allotment

23 Down the old allotment is a place I like to go. Grandad has a little plot with carrots, row on row. Lines of juicy strawberries are what we like to grow Down on my Grandad’s allotment.

24 CHORUS: Green beans, green beans and raspberries so sweet. There’s something every day for us to eat. You can find us digging in the sun and rain and sleet, Down on my Grandad’s allotment.

25 Everything tastes better when you’ve grown it all by hand. All you need’s a few pots or a little plot of land. I can tell you my tomatoes are in great demand Down on my Grandad’s allotment.

31 BRIDGE: Down here in my garden, there’s such a lot to do. It’s such a busy garden to spend an hour or two. There’s so much here that we can cook, so let’s go down and take a look.

32 VERSE 1: Beans, peas and cabbages, turnips, carrots, radishes. Potatoes, parsnips and broad beans, sweetcorn, pumpkin, celery. But how do we make them grow? I’m gonna tell you so….!
