Do not change the settings in “Page Setup.” Your poster will be printed at twice the size you see here (at 100%). If you want to see how big things will actually be on the final poster, view this slide at 200%. Font size: printed font size will be double the size you use on this page. I have used Trebuchet bold size 9 for headings and Trebuchet regular size 7 for the text. When I print it, it will look like size 18 for headings and size 14 for text. References can be smaller: on this slide they are size 6, so size 12 printed out. The title is size 36 bold, so will be 72 printed. Create tables in MSWord first, then cut and paste them into the poster. Create graphs and charts in MSExcel, then cut and paste them into the poster.
