4. FLOODING Glacial melting (i.e. Greenland) increases sea levels. Scientist foresee a 1m increase in sea levels would threaten 72 million citizens in coastal China alone. The collapse of the W. Antarctic Ice Sheet would potentially increase sea levels by 6m, affecting over 400 million people worldwide.

5. Drought Droughts in Midwest during the 80s and 90s caused mass migration. Tens of thousands moved, leaving behind ghost towns.
