2 Battery Development Developed and standardized for transition- age D/HH individuals mild secondary conditions approximately 3 rd grade reading level unlikely to pursue 4-year college education. Standardized on approximately 200 students

3 Subtest Subject Areas Subtest 1 – Job Seeking Skills Subtest 2 – Work Adjustment Skills Subtest 3 – Job Related Social and Interpersonal Skills Subtest 4 – Money Management Skills Subtest 5 – Health and Home Skills Subtest 6 – Community Awareness Skills

4 Description of Battery Tests are presented by sign and written form Signs are standardized based on pilot field site comments Written items are standardized to the 3 rd grade level

5 Item Example You see a police car behind you with flashing red lights. You pull over to the side of the road. The police officer begins to talk to you. You do NOT understand the officer. You should: A.reach in your glove compartment for a pencil and paper B.tell the officer you are deaf C.reach for the officer's pencil and paper
