2 Master-Slave Robots ( electronics, (embedded software?)) How can two robots be made to run in parallel at the same distance, at the same speed? Master robot moved manually, control the slave (1) Master has laser, slave has specially designed complex sensor (2) Master has LEDs, slave has camera Possibly microcontroller system and interface to sensor/electronics MasterSlave

7 Signature analysis ( Matlab simulation) Generate database of 20x5 signatures Identify tools, parameters etc. to allow human signatures to be distinguished –perhaps Fourier analysis, wavelets, principal components (angle, slope etc.) –How many groups of letters? –How close together are the letters? Identify signatures, confidence measure

8 Detection of Tampered Images (Matlab simulation) Digital Images are often not allowed as evidence in a courtroom. Can a computer detect that an image has been changed when the human eye cannot? Database of images, tampered and original Various analysis methods, Image statistics
