2 Our Collective Journey THREE GOALS – KNOW To meet or exceed state, national and international curriculum standards that incorporate acquisition of 21 st century skills through engaging opportunities in the arts, world languages, health and physical education, career/technical education as well as the core subjects of reading/English/language arts, mathematics, science and social studies.

3 Our Collective Journey BEHAVE – To develop the personal skills and dispositions of wellness, responsibility, cultural awareness, self-direction, ethical character and good citizenship in an environment that is caring and safe.

6 Pre-K 18 traditional songs, stories and rhymes Available in Chinese, French, Japanese and Spanish Categorized by study projects Sample lesson plans Media content using puppets, contextual visuals and audio

7 Language Trekkers Goals – Exposure – Foreign words convey meaning – Attune receptive listening skills – NOT to provide direct instruction
