3 “ I don’t regard myself as an artist, but feel obliged and duty bound to convey to future generations the awareness of the horror of the Holocaust through creation made from various materials”. “אינני מרגיש את עצמי כאומן, אך אני מרגיש צורך וחובה להעביר לדורות הבאים את שמעיק עלי כל הזמן: מעשה הזוועה שעשו לעם היהודי.את כאבי אני מבטא באמצעות חומרים שונים.“ Nu mă consider artist, dar mă simt obligat să împărtăşesc generaţiilor viitoare conştientizarea ororilor Holocaustului prin lucrări create din diverse materiale.

4 My name is Dr.Kieselstein Martin. I was born in 1925 in Marosvásárhely, Transylvania and I am a survivor of the Holocaust. In the concentration camp my number was 70819. שמי ד " ר מרטין קיזלשטיין. נולדתי ב 1925 בטרגו מורש, טרנסילבניה ואני ניצול שואה. מספר האסיר שלי ממחנה הריכוז הוא 70819. Sunt Dr.Kieselstein Martin. M-am născut în 1925 în Târgu Mureş, Transilvania şi sunt supravieţuitor al Holocaustului. Numărul meu în lagărul de concentrare a fost 70819.

15 The crematory at Auschwitz was bombed by the Germans before the Red Army’s arrival with the hope that the world would never know about the horrors committed there. המשרפה באושוויץ הופצצה ע " י הגרמנים לפני הגעתה של הצבא האדום, בתקווה להסתיר מהעולם את הזוועה שנעשתה שם.

17 One of many who ”were” and “are” no longer. אחד מרבים שהיו ואינם עוד.

18 Before the Jews of my hometown were put into ghetto,a father cut his daughter’s braids off and gave them to a Christian neighbour to keep them.He and his daughter perished.The son of the family survived, returned to his hometown and got the braids back. These are presently displayed at “ Yad Vashem “ in Jerusalem. לפני שרכזו את היהודים בגטו בעירי, אב גזר את צמות בתו ונתן לשכנה הנוצריה למשמרת. הוא ובתו ניספו. הבן שניצל חזר לעירנו וקיבל את הצמות בחזרה. הוא נתן אותן ל " יד ושם ", שם הן מוצגות לראווה.
