2 ØUC is located in three neighbouring towns Halden, Sarpsborg and Fredrikstad, in the southeast corner of Norway. We are a medium-sized University College with 4.000 students and 450 staff members. About Østfold University College (ØUC)

3 ØUC offers a number of bachelor’s degree programmes and a few master’s degree programmes, several of which include a period of study abroad. Most of our study programmes are taught in Norwegian, but we also offer a number of courses taught in English (alternatively: in German or French). Study programmes

16 ØUC participates in a number of international co- operation programmes: Socrates/Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci and Nordplus. We have bilateral agreements with European Universities, but also a few American and Australian Universities. Norway has adopted the ECTS credit and grading system and our studies are internationally compatible. International Relations
