1. Here are some details about the WKAMF workshop in Nantes 3-5 April: 1. There will be NO registration fee for the workshop. IFREMER will cover the costs of the coffee breaks and poster reception. Many thanks to Pierre Petitgas and IFREMER's support! 2. Directions to IFREMER can be found at http://www.ifremer.fr/nantes/showpage.php?02. See attached.ppt file for maps. The conference room will be the Amphitheatre "JP Troadec". There will be signs posted on the IFREMER campus. 3. The registration desk will be opened on Monday morning 0800-1200 am. 4. Lunch tickets for the IFREMER cafeteria will be ~9 Euro and will be available at the registration desk. 5. Banquet tickets for Tuesday night will be available for 30 Euro in cash at the registration desk. The banquet will be held at the restaurant "Les petits Saints". The price includes: aperitif, entrée, main course, desert, wine (small amount) and coffee, with choice between meat and fish for the entrée and main course. Additional wine is extra to that price. 6. A.pdf of the workshop program will be posted on the web page this evening and all participants will receive a hard copy upon arrival at the workshop. 7. Oral presenters: please be prepared to submit your talk on a memory stick or CD. For those who are speaking on Monday morning, please arrive early enough to ensure that your talk is loaded onto the workshop computer. 8. Poster presenters: please be prepared to hang your poster during registration, coffee breaks and lunch on Monday. Supplies needed to hang the posters will be provided. Please note that the maximum dimensions are 90 cm wide and 110 cm tall. 9. Internet access. We will have 3PC (windows98) + 5 connections for participants to connect their own PC. For laptop connections, the following will be required: XP Pro.; web configuration DHCP (for automatic IP number to be attributed by the Ifremer system); password of PC administrator; updated anti-virus. 10.
