1 Daniel 7:8 ReturnReturn Daniel 7:11 SavedSaved Thrones cast down Ancient of Days  ------Daniel 7:9,10------  To fully understand and appreciate Revelations, you must understand its layout. Revelation follows standard prophetic protocols used elsewhere in the prophetic scriptures. When there is great activity on earth and in heaven at the same time, both events are recorded in the same setting but separate scriptures. A good example is Daniel 7:8-11. Daniel 7:8 Antichist has come to power. Daniel 7:9,10 completely leave the scence on earth and record great events happening in heaven (rapture has taken place, Satan and his angels cast down to earth, and all the raptured saints standing before a fiery throne denoting time of judgment is at hand, and the book of judgments is open. Then, Daniel 7:11 we are back on earth and pick up exactly where we left off at in Daniel 7:8. Antichrist has now become the beast and is empire is destroyed, burned and this happens when Jesus comes back at the battle of Armageddon.Daniel 7:8-11

2 Daniel 7:8  ------Daniel 7:9,10------  The Book of Revelation follows the same pattern. Revelations chapter 1 shows the resurrected Jesus appearing to John on the island of Patmos. Jesus appears shining as the sun as dressed as Prophet, Priest, Kingd, Judge. He is walking among 7 lampstands and in His hand are 7 stars. He tells John to write the things which are. These 7 lampstands are 7 Churches in Asia Minor (modern Turkey) and 7 stars are the Ministers (angel denotes messenger) of these Churches. Jesus has a message for each of these 7 Churches. These 7 Churches in Rev 2 and 3 pick up where the Church in the book of Acts left off. These 7 letters (number of completeness) tell the rest of the story of the Church Age on earth through these 7 churches because these 7 letters are also prophetic of 7 major Church periods from end of Acts to the rapture. Revelation 1:19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; Has Seen Things which are

3 Daniel 7:8  ------Daniel 7:9,10------  Revelation 1:19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; Has Seen Rev 1 Things which are – Rev 2,3 Rev 4:1 tells us clearly that the remaining chapters of Revelation (chapter 4-22) is future – that is after the 7 Church periods of Rev 2 and 3 have run their historical course. Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. However, because the rapture happens in Rev 4 resulting in untold millions if not billions of saints in there new immortal bodies there is now great activity both in heaven and on earth where Satan, his angels, Beast and false prophet are. Just like Daniel 7:8-11, John records activity of Christ and the Saints in heaven from Rev 4-11 and then the same events from earth’s view in Rev 12-19. Rev 20-22 Christ and the saints are back on earth.rapture

I added an additional row to show why I grouped Revelation heaven view chapters with Revelation earth view chapters. Notice both heaven view and earth view are chronological and topical. The main topic periods between the rapture and Christ’s visible return is the 3 ½ year Christian tribulation period and the 7 year Day of the Lord which is the same time period as Daniel’s 70 th week.raptureChrist’s visible return 3 ½ year Christian tribulation period 7 year Day of the Lord Daniel’s 70 th week
