1 MHSA creating access and compliance About AST AST was founded in 1998 Funded by the US Dept of Education NIDRR grants to create an automated captioning system. AST provides an automated, web-based captioning system for captioning web media, videotapes, DVDs, podcasts, and other media. AST’s captioning system has been in service for over 5 years; used by hundreds of colleges and universities across the US. © 2008 Automatic Sync Technologies
