1 The New Sweet Researched by William Nicholson

2 Project Asked a few members of the public weather the taste, durability, texture or image was more important, using a questionnaire. Looked into our research to see if taste was more important than durability.

3 Taste Value Overall Made a graph to show my results. The graph shows that most people think that the taste is extremely important.

4 Durability overall value Quite a lot of people said the durability was important, but not as important as the taste.

5 Value for Money The value for money on most other sweets is around 0.85p per gram. I suggest that our sweets cost no more than 0.75p per gram. Fruit Gums cost 0.67p per gram, which is the lowest amount, so if we are to compete with them then we should stick to the price I have recommended.

6 Why Do People Buy Their Sweets?

7 Recommendation Our sweets should be made to taste nicer because more people said that taste was more important than durability, but our sweets still need to last longer, because that was said to be important by some people. Make our sweet taste better, and last longer!
