2 Aims REMICS 2 (Research Methods In Cognitive Studies) is a winter school aimed at teaching advanced research methods and topics to international students (website under construction: www.remics2010.pl) It is funded as an Erasmus Intensive Programme In 2010 it is organized by nine partner institutions from UK, Germany, France, Spain and Poland The coordinating institution is Interdisciplinary Center for Applied Cognitive Studies, Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities

6 Organisational issues The School lasts two weeks (all students must stay for the two weeks – it is an Erasmus requirement) All accommodation and transport costs are covered by the organizers All students and teachers are accommodated at a nice and cozy three star Hotel Czarny Potok in Zakopane http://www.czarnypotok.pl/en/index.htmlhttp://www.czarnypotok.pl/en/index.html Transport costs will be reimbursed after the School

7 Location and Activities Zakopane is the most popular Polish winter resort, located in Tatra Mountains. The scenery is beautiful and there are many opportunities to do downhill and cross country skiing and walking. All skiing equipment can be rented at skiing stations. The School daily shedule is so arranged as to allow for sport activities (or for individual work if one wishes:) in the morning to early afternoon.
