1 MEDICAL PHYSICS University of Novi Sad Association of Centers for Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies and Developmental Research - ACIMSI

2 General Information The organisation of interdisciplinary graduate studies programe in MEDICAL PHYSICS was initiated by Faculty of Science and Faculty of Medicine at Univesity of Novi Sad during the academic year 1994/95. It was inspired by an expresed need for the experts in medical institutions and research teams due to the rapid development of medical diagnostics and therapy based on high–technology medical equipment. These interdisciplinary studies are unique on the territory of Serbia and Montenegro and in harmony with similar studies in other European countries. Center for Medical Physics of the University of Novi Sad organizes Specialist, Master’s and Doctoral studies.

3 General Information Course coordinator: Dr Slobodanka Stanković, full professor, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Novi Sad. Learning resources: Faculty of Science (Department of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics), Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering. Average number of students per year: 5 – 7. Affiliations and facilities: Faculty of Science, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, University of Novi Sad, Institute in Sremska Kamenica, Clinical center Novi Sad.
