5 Targets Annual targets - will be updated each year –Specific: drives and brings attention to resources –Measured: summative measures for accomplishment –Attainable: can be accomplished this year – Results: benchmarks to measure efforts – Time bound - to be accomplished this year Not all sub-goal areas addressed every year Focus will change each year as different components become accomplished and part of what we do Focus on what will be new and different

Students must also become literate in the understanding of visual images. 18 Next Steps After approval Develop action plans for each target Begin Implementation of targets Produce Strategic Plan Brochure Website posting and development Present to both internal and external organizations Sub-committee formed to monitor progress and develop targets for 2012-13 Formal updates to board at mid and end of year New targets (2012-13) brought to the board in June of 2012
