Other proteins help regulate cell division and make sure everything happens in the correct order External regulators such as hormones can tell a cell when it is time to divide

5. Causes of Cancer Just as there are many different types of cancer there are many different causes. Your Genetic make up can make you more or less susceptible to cancer. If you have a history of Cancer in your family you have a high risk of getting cancer.

7. What can I do to Reduce my Risk of Cancer Exercise Eat Fresh Fruits and Veggies Limit Meats, smoked, Charred, Additives Don’t Smoke! Avoid too much sun, wear sunscreen, hat and long sleeves (Too much sun causes wrinkles too!) Limit exposure to chemicals Practice Safe sex or abstinence (HPV causes Cervical cancer) Know your body and get regular screenings
