A taster of some of the tools that are now available on the internet. Thinking about the following questions -How do these tools relate to language learning and language acquisition? -In what contexts and how can they be used to foster language learning? -What limitations or difficulties can you forsee.

Show you a variety of technologies and understand how to use some of the them. Help you to understand the link between using technology and current language teaching methodologies Build the basis of a framework in which you can use and understand technology Develop the tools and networks that will help you continue to learn within this area ( PLN)

In what ways does using this tool link with what we know about language learning ( motivation, context, authenticity, variety, task, skills...)? How might you use it in the class/homework/for students? In what context do you think it would be most appropriate ( age, number of students, level, teaching situation)? It is about interaction Meaningful, Purposeful, a reason to communicate. If possible real communication, authenticity. Tasks Varied language/Work creatively Time The correct feedback Mindful/Motivated Right atmosphere of challenge/stress
