Objects look bigger when they are close by.
Objects look smaller the farther away they are.
Discuss with the the students that objects appear bigger when they are nearby and appear smaller as they get farther away.

Discuss with students how objects in outer space can also appear to be different sizes. The Sun looks small from Earth because it is far away.
