11 Sample Body Paragraph The play, The Glass Menagerie, is about the protagonist tom, who has to decide whether he wants to live with his family or fulfill his dreams. He was the head of the family because his father escaped from the family responsibilities because couldn’t face the obstacles. The same happened with Tom standing alone, facing all the problems of his family and the responsibilities of his sister was very hard for him to deal with. He did try to escape many times, excusing himself to the movies. At last, he follows his father’s way and escaped from all the obstacles of his family and responsibilities of his sister. Thus, Tom standing alone in his bad situation was frustrating and he couldn’t deal with the situation and he gave up at last by leaving the house. Therefore, standing alone in a bad situation doesn’t make the strongest man upon the earth.
