What are some of the things we pray for?

3. Sometimes, people lose their trust in God… because things don’t work out the way they wanted.

4. Thy will be done. What is wrong with that?
During “Our Father”, we say…
Thy will be done.
God’s will. Not our own will!

5. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,       Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.        “ For as the heavens are higher than the earth,       So are My ways higher than your ways,       And My thoughts than your thoughts.
(Isaiah 55:8-9)

6. God knows everything.
We know so little.
Who would know what’s best for us more?
His plan for us is better.

7. “For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God.”

8. So what should we do? +We pray. Let it be according to Your will.
+We love God.
We follow His commandment. We’re faithful.
We do our best.
+We pray. Let it be according to Your will.

9. We trust No matter what happens, God loves us.
He is with us, and He is making things work together for the best.

10. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

11. + We don’t worry about anything!
+We thank God for His love, and for the fact that we know that whatever happens, God is working for our own good, and that we can trust Him with everything, with all our troubles and desires… without having to worry about anything.

12. Glorifying God.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify Your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:6)

13. Compassion
Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep(Romans 2:15)
Always be considerate of how others may be feeling. Show them love and compassion.
